Message from Noelle 06/05/2010
Despite the very variable weather we have had some excellent events so far.
The Blossom Walk took place on Saturday 27th Feb with almost 30 walkers enjoying a delightful walk followed by lunch at La Piscina. Well done to Peter James for organising it.
On 14th Feb a similar number went to Giramondo’s to join the residents of La Sella for Valentine’s Night. It was a bit of a squash and although it was enjoyable it might not be a good idea in future.
In March Mike Burke organised an excellent although demanding walk from Sanet and Negrels which turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far. 15 of us enjoyed a delicious and very reasonable menu of the day at Restaurant Tormos.
Sheila arranged a very enjoyable Easter Sunday Lunch at Verde Vent, and after the tournament on 11th April, we had lunch at the new Giromondo’s.
